1500 Poverty Point Parkway, Delhi, LA 71232

The name does not give this park justice. It's GORGEOUS! The sites are spacious and private with a picnic table and a fire ring. We arrived late in the afternoon, and I did not venture far because of the wind chill and the sun going down. It's cold outside...brrr. I did walk a little bit of a nature trail with our dog, Lucy, but with it getting dark, I didn't go to far into the woods. Since the park sits on a large man-made lake, it provides a boat ramp for fishing and other water sports. I didn't get an opportunity to take my own pictures with it getting dark, and we left early. The pictures shown are from their website. From the short time span there, this looks like a fantastic park to visit in the warmer months.
