Roswell tops the strange tourist destinations list. It's all about the aliens. When visiting Roswell, the International UFO Museum is the place to be. From the Aztecs to current alien events, novelties on alien activity are everywhere. Even the streetlights and McDonald's ooze with alien likeness.

For overnight camping, we found Bottomless Lake State Park. The lake provides a public swimming area with a man-made beach. The water is a deep blue, clear, and has a variety of small fish.

If you like camping under the stars, this is a great location. There is no haze of city lights obstructing the view of the glorious speckled blanket of stars. The campground is first come, first serve, with electric and water hookups.
